Grand Debut!

What a magical night we were grateful to be apart of at RGNY Winery for Noah’s Dinner in the Vines. The 5 course pairing dinner kicked off with our very own Good Ground Oysters adorned with a rosé granita making for a refreshing little taste of the sea married with the best of North Fork wine country!

The care Chef Noah took to curate his menu, and the incredible commentary between courses from the chef and wine makers provided an education on the source and process of creating the various ingredients and wines that accompanied each expertly prepared dish. Our very own Good Ground Sea Farm Owner Kimberly Barbour was invited to speak and explain what it takes to cultivate an oyster and bring it to market. Providing education to the public about the process of growing oysters, the restorative benefits of aquaculture, and the importance of eating local, sustainable seafood is something that Good Ground Sea Farm sees as a priority, and we were so happy to have a chance to talk about this in front of the gracious dinner guests in attendance at this event.

This event marked the first of many we look forward to being involved in, and can’t thank our hosts RGNY and Chef Noah Schwartz and his team enough for providing a great platform for the grand debut of Good Ground Oysters! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the fabulous wines at RGNY and enjoy a farm to table meal at Noah’s restaurant in Greenport.
